You’ll pay no fees unless we lower your Total Enrolled Debt*
*Terms and Conditions
As creditors will not negotiate with consumers who are current on their account, your account balance may continue to grow as your creditor adds accrued interest, fees, or penalties. The “The Americor ‘Pay-No-Fee’ Guarantee” (the “Guarantee”) is intended to provide you protection should the settlement of your accounts as a result of these increases or as a result of an uncooperative creditor exceeds the amount at enrollment.
“Total Enrolled Debt” is defined as the “Total Enrolled Debt” as disclosed to you in the “Estimated Program Costs” in your signed enrollment package.
From time-to-time, debts may be removed due to ineligibility, added at your request, or charges (or balance transfers) on existing debts may be made by you. Depending on the circumstances, these changes may result in the exclusion of particular debts from the Guarantee calculation as follows:
Company fees are not included or considered in the overall settlement calculation. For example, if $10,000 Total Enrolled Debt were settled at $9,000, but Company fees associated with that debt exceeded $1,000, that would not trigger a waiver of any fees.
In the event you are eligible for the Guarantee, please allow 30 calendar days from the resolution of your final settlement account for refunds of already collected fees to be issued.
This Guarantee can be terminated at any time without notice. This Guarantee is effective for new consumers with Enrollment dates on or after August 1, 2021.
